Skyshot is a multiplayer sport that combines parkour movement with grappling hooks. Players swing around the arena to pursue the ball, outmaneuver opponents, and score. Soar over your opponents in a futuristic urban landscape as you climb, pull, and shoot for ultimate victory in the Skyshot arena. The aesthetic of Skyshot is industrial, with touches of glass and stone in a big-city environment.
Developed in Unreal Engine 4, Skyshot features online multiplayer with Steam integration so players can use their Steam name and avatar in-game. Movement mechanics include wall-running, ledge-climbing, dashing, and swinging.
Skyshot is currently under development by a group of 20 undergraduate students as a 2017 Advanced Game Project (AGP) in the games program at the University of Southern California (USC) in collaboration with a few external team members from CSUF and NYU.
